My name is Marcel Letourneau and I was born and raised in southeast Michigan.  I went to Michigan State University for my undergraduate degree and Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school.  I completed my internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship in Grand Blanc MI, now Henry Ford.  I then went to Southfield MI, now Henry Ford for interventional fellowship.  The end of my training was the start of the Covid pandemic.  The pandemic helped shape my passion for VTE disease due to the increased incidence at that time.  I now work for Corewell Health West but mainly cover a smaller community hospital in Holland Michigan.
