Dr. Harris received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT and medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA and served as Chief Medical Resident at the University of Washington Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Washington, with specialized training in echocardiography and valvular heart disease. This is his 7^th year on faculty at the University of Michigan. His clinical interests are management of valvular heart disease and structural echocardiography. His research interests are focused on identifying optimal timing for heart valve interventions.
