Grace Ouchida, Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist
Grace S. Ouchida, DACM, Dipl. AHM (NCBAHM)™, LAc has practiced acupuncture and herbal medicine for 17 years. Before entering healthcare, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego, and held management roles in the aviation industry and at a nonprofit membership organization supporting documentary filmmakers. She graduated summa cum laude from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine with a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine in 2009 and earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2020.
Grace ran a private practice in Healdsburg, CA, for 13 years. A few years in, she began working in western medical settings alongside her practice, including at Santa Rosa Community Health. She is now an Acupuncture Provider in the Pain Medicine Department at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa, specializing in treating chronic pain. Committed to advancing the acupuncture profession, she joined the team that negotiated the first collective bargaining agreement for Northern California Kaiser Permanente acupuncture providers. She also spent five years chairing the Membership/Benefits Committee of the American Society of Acupuncturists (ASA), a national professional association for acupuncturists, and continues to serve on its Conference Committee.
