UNC HEALTH Pharmacy and Therapeutics Series
The "UNC Health System Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee Series" offers healthcare professionals an in-depth exploration of key pharmacologic updates, formulary recommendations, and clinical management strategies that impact system-wide patient care. At the P&T meeting on April 21, participants will use principles of evidence-based medicine to evaluate formulary change recommendations, assess the impact of optimization initiatives, and develop strategies to optimize patient care and safety across the UNC Health Care System. This series is designed to enhance clinical decision-making, address medication safety concerns, and discuss the cost-effectiveness of therapeutic options, equipping attendees with actionable
knowledge to optimize pharmacological practices across diverse healthcare settings.

Learning Objectives
- Evaluate data supporting the use of Fibryga the management of patients with postpartum hemorrhage.
- Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of clinical trials used to evaluate the efficacy of Nexobrid for deep partial or full thickness burns.
- Review safety & efficacy of amivantamab & hyaluronidase in the setting of EGFR-mutated NSCLC
- Identify clinical and operational implications of ongoing drug shortages.
