PLB Go Beyond 2026
The PLB Go Beyond Retreat is a multi-day educational wellness program designed for women physicians seeking practical, evidence-based strategies to improve emotional well-being, resilience, self-awareness, and alignment between personal values and daily life. Through a combination of facilitated workshops, reflective exercises, experiential learning, small group discussion, and guided self-coaching practices, participants will explore topics including emotional processing, cognitive reframing, self-compassion, strengths-based growth, boundary setting, values clarification, and sustainable behavior change. Sessions integrate principles from positive psychology, cognitive behavioral coaching frameworks, mindfulness practices, and physician wellness research in a highly interactive and reflective format.
The retreat is intentionally structured to address common professional practice gaps contributing to physician burnout, emotional exhaustion, perfectionism, overfunctioning, and chronic self-criticism. Participants will learn practical tools they can apply both personally and professionally to improve emotional regulation, strengthen boundaries, reduce guilt and maladaptive thought patterns, and create more sustainable approaches to work and life. Educational sessions include experiential exercises, partner and group reflection, structured journaling, guided visualization, and applied coaching tools designed to foster insight, psychological flexibility, and long-term integration beyond the retreat setting.
