2026 Florida Society of Rheumatology Annual Meeting

This live, multi-day educational conference is designed to provide continuing medical education for rheumatologists and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The program delivers a comprehensive review of current and emerging topics in rheumatology, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice, advances in immunology, and the integration of novel therapies into clinical care.

The agenda includes expert-led lectures, panel discussions, and interactive sessions addressing key areas such as cellular therapies systemic autoimmune diseases, neuroimmunology, and complications of rheumatic disease such as interstitial lung disease and vasculitis. Additional sessions focus on infection prevention in immunocompromised patients, the role of inflammation in chronic disease, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence in rheumatology practice.

Overall, this CME activity is intended to enhance physician competence, support clinical decision-making, and improve patient outcomes by translating the latest scientific advances into practical applications in rheumatology care.

This activity is designed for an audience of physicians and nurses.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply current evidence-based advances in the diagnosis and management of rheumatic diseases to improve patient outcomes across a variety of clinical practice settings.
  • Integrate emerging research, novel therapies, and evolving best practices into the evaluation and treatment of patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Foster the professional development of physicians-in-training by enhancing clinical reasoning, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and promoting mentorship to support the next generation of rheumatology clinicians and leaders.
