Vegas Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetic Dermatology (VCS) offers a premier, physician-led scientific program featuring live cadaver surgery, anatomy-based education, and multispecialty expertise. With a focus on surgical and nonsurgical techniques, patient safety, emerging technologies, and practice management strategies, VCS provides clinically relevant, real-world education tailored to elevate outcomes in aesthetic medicine and surgery.
Target Audience
This educational activity is designed for board certified or board eligible in plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery, dermatology, and oculoplastic surgery, nurses and other healthcare professionals working directly with one of those specialists.
Learning Objectives
- Evaluate surgical and nonsurgical treatment options for facial and body aesthetic rejuvenation.
- Apply advanced injection techniques informed by detailed facial anatomy to improve safety and clinical outcomes.
- Identify high-risk anatomical zones and implement evidence-based strategies to prevent complications in aesthetic procedures.
- Integrate ultrasound and imaging technologies to guide injection techniques and enhance patient safety.
- Develop multimodal treatment plans combining surgical procedures, injectables, and energy-based devices.
- Assess patient selection criteria and treatment planning strategies for complex aesthetic cases.

- Assess evolving treatment considerations related to new patient populations and emerging therapies (e.g., post-weight loss physiology).
- Integrate topical therapies, procedural treatments, and skincare protocols to optimize long-term skin health.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and clinical innovations shaping the future of aesthetic medicine.
