
3rd Great GI Debates
EBMed’s Great GI Debates will focus on: (a) inflammatory bowel disease; (b) esophageal disorders, including acid-peptic disorders and eosinophilic esophagitis; and (c) GI motility disorders, including irritable bowel syndrome and chronic idiopathic constipation; and (d) Impact of patient advocacy and artificial intelligence on practice of GI. Interactive formats will be emphasized with minimal traditional lectures.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for an audience of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Associates, as well as any other healthcare professionals interested in gastrointestinal diseases or disorders.
Learning Objectives
- Describe evidence‑based management of esophageal–gastric and GI motility disorders, including GERD, EoE, H. pylori infection, gastroparesis, IBS, and the use of esophageal and anorectal manometry in evaluating motility disorders.
- Apply effective strategies to teach early‑career GI trainees and GI‑APPs about AI applications in gastroenterology and their role in enhancing understanding of the patient experience.
- Discuss evidence‑based management of inflammatory bowel disease—including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and pouchitis—with emphasis on current clinical guidelines and emerging treatments.
